The holidays are an ideal time to relax, and often you can actually feel the stress leave your body as you become more relaxed.

However, a child on the spectrum often has difficult in recognising the actual physical changes they experience when relaxed and when stressed and often unable to articulate it. By using ‘down-times’ during the holidays to help them recognise those physical differences, you can set up some great stress reliving strategies with anchor points they can refer back to throughout the year….when life has a tendency to become very stressed!
